Forty years ago, my family moved to Wadsworth, Ohio. My parents enrolled me at Sacred Heart School. I was shy and afraid, but my teacher helped me to love school. I loved school so much I decided to become a elementary school teacher. My first job was third grade at Sacred Heart School. My children (twins) attended Sacred Heart for 9 years. When they were in fourth grade, Fr. Joe asked if I would leave Wadsworth City Schools and consider being the principal of Sacred Heart. I said yes! I must say that I have loved every minute of being principal at the place that I believe led me to a career in education. My wish for each one of the students of Sacred Heart School is that they will love school as much as I always did when I was at Sacred Heart.

Throughout its history, Sacred Heart has been a place where everyone feels like a
family. It is a caring, loving place where Christ is the unseen teacher. Our commitment to the Catholic faith is evident in everything that we do. We are proud of the success that our alumni have in high school, not just academically, but in all areas. We believe that we prepare our children to be caring, committed citizens that will help make our world a better place. We also try to give our students as many opportunities to find out what their gift to the world is. We believe we are a beacon of hope for parents trying to raise their children in today’s society.

If you would like to know more about our school, I encourage you to explore our website or visit our school so you can witness the love of Christ in action.

I love Sacred Heart Heart School, and I hope you will love it as much as I do! I look forward to meeting you!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Tracey Arnone
